Schedule Changes Announced For Big Ten Series

PrintMACON, IL — With the first Big Ten Pro Late Model event in the books, schedule changes have been made to produce a makeup date and provide the Pro Late Models their own stand alone events.  The emergence of such quality race cars in the area and with determined drivers prepared to put on a great show, the Big Ten Series removed two Macon dates and added three other events to the remaining Pro Late Model Series in 2015. The crate late models will still have a 10-event series with the champion earning $1,000 from the $3,000 point fund.

The schedule changes are as follows, the Pro Late Models have been removed from the June 13 $1500 to win Miller Lite 50 and July 18 Macon events, making those stand alone Super Late Model Big Ten Series races. August 1st will be a Big Ten Super Late Model makeup date being named the KERBYSTRONG 100, paying $2000 to the 50-lap main event winner in honor of the late Kerby Damery.

The Pro Late Model Big 10 Series new and remaining race dates are as follows, June 27, August 15 (new), and September 12 (new).

Due to previous rainouts, Lincoln Speedway and Jacksonville Speedway have also produced some makeup dates for the series. Big Ten Street Stocks have a makeup date of Sunday, June 28 at Lincoln and the Pro Late Models have been added to Friday, July 24 also at Lincoln Speedway. The Big Ten Super Late Models have a makeup day of Tuesday, June 16 at Jacksonville Speedway.
