Due to many requests we have located an indoor venue and have brought in an outside caterer for this season’s year end festivities! The 2016 Awards Banquet will be held Sunday October 30, 2016 at the Macon Community Center from 4-7pm. The dinner will consist of marinated chicken breasts, potato, vegetables, and dessert. This year’s festivities will cost $15 for Adults and Kid’s 12 and under $5, all tickets will be available at the door or can be purchased early by calling 217-764-3000. Please join us for a night of fun as awards for both Macon Speedway and the Midwest Big Ten Series will be given out. Please mark the date as we honor our 2016 Champions!

This Saturday Night thanks to American Bottling Company every fan in attendance will receive a free bottle of Sun Drop! Don’t forget it’s Kid’s Castle Learning Center Scout Night with the CEFCU Kid’s Club. There will be a Pine Wood Derby for the kids starting at 4pm. Macon Speedway will be entertainment central for family fun this coming Saturday, August 13, as the second Eve of Destruction is held at the facility. Final preparations are being put into place for car jumps, a steel wall crash, fireworks, racing and more.
Fans, both young and young at heart, will be treated to world renowned, Mr. Dizzy, who has appeared on the History Channel TV show, American Daredevils. Mr. Dizzy is a five time world record holder for different stunts that he has been able to accomplish. Mr. Dizzy will jump his car into a pyramid of vehicles and be part of a steel wall crash. In addition to those two events, fireworks will close out the show that includes racing action in six of Macon Speedway’s divisions. Competing during the night will be the Pro Late Models, Billingsley Towing Modifieds, UMP Street Stocks, Beach House Micros, UMP Hornets, and B-Mod’s.
Pit gates open Saturday at 4:00, grandstands at 5:00, registration closes at 6:00 when hotlaps begin, and racing will take the green at 7:00. Adult admission is $15, while children 11 and under are free.

Due to the growing division of the B-Mod’s, Macon Speedway has released a new progressive payout for the class. The purpose of this formula is to reward the drivers when the car counts increase. This will give drivers an incentive to help self promote the B-Mod Division. The B-Mod’s are in year number two at Macon Speedway and we look forward to helping grow this economical, fun division. Over 30 bikes have been donated and will be given away this Saturday Night at Macon Speedway. It’s part of the doubleheader weekend at the 1/5-mile dirt oval.Each kid that comes through the gate will receive a ticket and will be able to enter to win a bike of their choice.
