MIDWEST BIG TEN SERIES TO CROWN CHAMPION THIS FRIDAY, OCTOBER 11 AT LINCOLN SPEEDWAY

The season-long Midwest Big Ten UMP Late Model Showdown series will come to a close this Friday, October 11 at Lincoln Speedway in Lincoln, IL., crowning the champion, taking home the top prize of $2,000! The series has traveled throughout the summer between Lincoln Speedway, Lincoln, IL J Jacksonville Speedway, Jacksonville, IL and Macon Speedway, Macon, IL..

This year has been extremely exciting with only 50 points separating the top four. Steve Sheppard, Jr. is on top with 458 points, followed by Brian Dively with 442, Matt Taylor with 432, and Gregg Kimmons with 408.

Other classes running that night are MOWA 410 Winged Sprints, Modifieds and Lighting Sprints/Midget Lights.

Gates will open at 5pm with racing beginning at 7pm. Adult general admission tickets are $20, children 12 and under are free.
