2 NEW ILLINI OVALS ADDED TO HONDA MIDWEST IGNITE SLATE
A pair of Illinois ovals have been added to the 2013 Honda Midwest Ignite Dirt Midget calendar.
Kankakee County Speedway will host the series on Friday night, September 6 and Macon Speedway is the Saturday night, September 7 venue.
USAC’s last race at Macon found Brad Kuhn winning a Midget race there in 2007. It’s been 40 years since USAC’s late Kankakee appearance, a 1973 Midget race won by Pancho Carter.
Neither track has previously hosted the Ignite Midgets. Gage Walker is the current Honda USAC Midwest Ignite Dirt Series point leader.
