Macon Speedway Announces End Result Of Saturday Night’s Rained Out Features

(Macon, IL) This past Saturday night, September 28, rainfall hit Macon Speedway while the BillingsleyRewards.com Modifieds were on track for their feature event.  After rolling under caution for a number of laps, the drivers were sent pitside and the rest of the night’s action was canceled.

After a couple of days of discussing the options and getting input from a number of other promoters and UMP, Macon Speedway officials have felt the best scenario for everyone involved was to do the following.  For the BillingsleyRewards.com Modifieds, the race has been determined complete as it was scored at the time.  Drivers will be paid where they were running at the time they were sent off track.  For the Micros By Bailey Chassis and the Hornets, the feature payout for each division will be split equally and each driver will be paid an equal amount.

Macon Speedway would like to take this time to congratulate each of the 2019 track champions.  Dakota Ewing (Decatur Building Trades Pro Late Models, Tommy Sheppard (BillingsleyRewards.com Modifieds), Tim Hancock (Neal Tire & Auto Pro Mods), Scott Landers (Sportsman), Terry Reed (Archers Alley Street Stocks), Brady Reed (Hornets), and Daryn Stark (Micros By Bailey Chassis) were this year’s point champions.  They will be awarded at the 2019 Awards Banquet with a date to be announced.
