Milestone Home Services Outlaw Nationals Moves to Macon Speedway on May 7–9
Macon, IL. (3/4/26) - A major addition has been made to the 2026 schedule at Macon Speedway, as the Milestone Home Services Outlaw Nationals will relocate to the high-banked 1/5-mile oval on May 7–9, replacing the previously scheduled Bullring Blitz weekend.
Originally slated for early March at Port City Raceway, the event was postponed due to prolonged precipitation and severe weather conditions in the Tulsa area. After evaluating scheduling options and travel considerations for teams nationwide, officials with POWRi, NOW600, and T2 Promotions determined that moving the event to Macon Speedway in May provided the strongest opportunity to preserve the stature and competitive integrity of the Outlaw Nationals.
“This was not an easy decision, but our priority was making sure the Outlaw Nationals happens at the level it deserves,” said Talin Turner of POWRi Racing and T2 Promotions. “Macon Speedway has a long-standing tradition of hosting marquee open-wheel events, and we’re confident this facility and fan base will elevate the weekend even further.”
The rescheduled Outlaw Nationals will remain part of the POWRi/NOW600 RaceTech Titanium $uper $eries and will feature a three-night format:
Thursday, May 7 — Practice
Friday, May 8 — Preliminary Night
Saturday, May 9 — Championship Night
The restructured event will showcase enhanced purses across all divisions:
Wing Outlaws — $10,000-to-Win
Non-Wing Outlaws — $5,000-to-Win
Restricted — $2,000-to-Win
Jr. Sprints — $500-to-Win
“Our goal was to find a solution that maintained the prestige, payout, and national draw of this event,” said Terry Mattox of the NOW600 Series. “Macon Speedway provides a great platform to do exactly that, and we’re excited to see the Outlaw Nationals contested on one of the most competitive bullrings in the Midwest.”
The May 7–9 weekend will now replace the Bullring Blitz on the Macon Speedway calendar, bringing one of the premier micro sprint events in the country to Illinois for the 2026 season. The Outlaw Nationals is expected to attract competitors from multiple regions, continuing its reputation as a cornerstone event within the NOW600 and POWRi programs.
This relocation applies strictly to the 2026 season. The Milestone Home Services Outlaw Nationals is scheduled to return to Port City Raceway in 2027.
All previously purchased entries and reserved parking for the March event at Port City Raceway will be fully refunded. Competitors will be required to re-register for the Macon Speedway event through MyRacePass, found online at https://www.myracepass.com/series/1572/registrations/12785.
