Macon Speedway Unveils 2026 Racing Schedule
Macon, IL. (1/27/26) - Macon Speedway is set to deliver another action-packed season in 2026, unveiling a diverse schedule highlighted by marquee special events, touring series appearances, and weekly racing at the famed Illinois bullring.
The 2026 campaign launches with the Season Opener on Saturday, April 25, setting the stage for door-to-door competition, followed by the annual Macon Rumble on Saturday, May 2—both featuring weekly divisions.
Early-season excitement intensifies with the POWRi/NOW600 $uper $eries Bull Ring Blitz, scheduled for May 7–9. The three-night event welcomes Wing Outlaw Micro, Non-Wing Outlaw Micro, Restricted Micro, and Junior Sprint competitors, opening with a Thursday night practice before two nights of intense competition.
The POWRi National Midget League returns to Macon Speedway for the Second Annual Cornfield Combat on June 5–6, while Modified action takes center stage June 26–27 with Take It to the Bank, featuring a highly anticipated showdown between USMTS and UMP A-Mods battling for bragging rights.
Summer cornerstones return with the prestigious Herald & Review 100 on Sunday, July 5, showcasing the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Late Models and Modifieds, along with the continuation of the annual KerbyStrong event on Saturday, August 8, featuring the MARS Late Model Series.
The season also features a variety of fan-friendly events, including First Responders Night (May 30), Family Night & Rocco’s Race to Twenty (June 20), $2 Hot Dog Night (July 18), Kids Night (July 25), and Pack the Stands with $5 admission (August 29).
Weekly racing action concludes with the Season Championship on Saturday, September 12, while the 2026 season wraps up with the thrilling return of Monster Trucks on Saturday, October 10.
