“RAMINATOR� TRAVELS TO MACON SPEEDWAY FOR A CAR-CRUSHING SHOW ALONG WITH THE THE 9TH ANNUAL IL STATE STREET STOCK CHAMPIONSHIP

         (Macon, IL)  This Saturday, August 31, Macon Speedway and Bob Brady Auto Mall have lured the “Raminator� to Macon Speedway for a day of autograph signing, photographs and at the end of the night, and CAR CRUSHING! YES, CAR CRUSHING! Decatur Auto Parts has offered up a few cars for the Raminator to demolish that night. Make sure to bring your cameras!  Kids and adults alike will be thrilled when the 565 cubic-inch supercharged Hemi motor fires up, powering Raminator through an absolutely breath taking exhibition.

         It is also the 9th Annual Illinois State Street Stock championship. Many local and Midwest Street Stocks are expected to be in attendance. The nights Street Stock Championship race will include a $500 dollar to win purse and a four-foot trophy!

        Also that night will be exciting racing featuring the Billingsley Towing UMP Modifieds, UMP Sportsman, UMP 4-cylinder Outlaw Hornets, Stock Hornets and 600cc Mini Sprints.

        Gates will open at 5pm with racing beginning at 7pm. Adult general admission tickets are $15 and kids 11 & under are still free.

Macon Speedway continues its season into September with the Hornet World Championships on Saturday, September 7.

Macon Speedway is located 9 miles south of Decatur, IL on US 51 then 1/2 mile west on Andrews Street, then South on Wiles.
