Macon, IL. (6/22/26) - Macon Speedway gears up for one of the season’s most anticipated weekends as the United States Modified Touring Series makes its first return to the historic bullring since 2004 on June 26–27.
The nation’s top Modified racers will descend on Illinois for a full-throttle USMTS vs. UMP “Take It to the Bank” showdown, promising high-speed action and a clash of elite talent fans won’t want to miss.
The last time the USMTS roster unloaded at Macon, the track’s tight corners and elbows-out style delivered unforgettable drama. Now, more than two decades later, the stars of the national tour are back — armed with more power and depth than ever. Illinois’ best UMP Modified competitors will be waiting, ready to defend home turf in what shapes up as one of the most intense cross-series clashes of 2026.
