Freedom Fest Weekend Is Here
The 1st annual POWRi Freedom Fest weekend is upon us, with racing, fireworks, and live music scheduled for today and tomorrow at Macon Speedway.
Friday's action includes the POWRi Midgets, POWRi Micros, Non-Wing Micros, and Street Stocks. Â To celebrate the holiday weekend, the speedway will host its second fireworks display in as many events. Â Pit gates open today at 3:00, grandstands at 4:00, hotlaps at 6:00, and racing will take the green at 7:00.
Saturday's program will start with live music near the pavillion at 4:00. Â Hillbilly Hangover is scheduled to play for 45 minutes, followed by Brian Shartzer and the Garth Brooks Tribute Band. Â Musical entertainment is schedule up to 7:00. Â Saturday's action on the track includes, POWRi Midgets, POWRi Micros, Non-Wing Micros, and Modifieds.
Grandstand admission is $15 each event for adults, while children 11 and under are free.
