Jakeb Boxell Earns Win in POWRi IMRA Victory at Macon Speedway

Belleville, IL. (9/6/25) Maintaining ‘Land of Lincoln’ battles in the 2025 season, the fourteenth sanctioned seasonal event in the POWRi Illinois Midget Racing Association would find Jakeb Boxell earning the feature win to notch his first career series victory.

Starting the night of POWRi-sanctioned on-track battles, IMRA would find Mark McMahill notch the heat racing win with Jakeb Boxell gaining the pole-starting grid for the feature event.

Green flag feature racing would find pole-sitter Jakeb Boxell clinching the front of the field as the checkers waved after leading the twelve laps in the feature to earn the Macon Speedway feature event, as Tony Harter placed a solid runner-up.

Staying consistently close to the leaders, Mark McMahill would finish third as Logan Manson wheeled his way to place fourth with Dominic Bruns rounding out the top five feature finishers for the POWRi Illinois Midget Racing Association at Macon Speedway.
